Technical expert to the Civil Court of Rome since 1995 and to the Court of Tivoli since 1999. Party-appointed expert work for private clients and companies.

Appointed by the judge or by one of the parties, the practice examines the site conditions, gathers the documentation, carries out surveys and prepares a technical report answering the questions raised.
For companies, Ing. Caruso has also provided party-appointed expert services and valuations of industrial complexes and hotel facilities.

CTU and CTP: the differences.
What is a court-appointed technical expert report (CTU)?
It is the expert work entrusted by the judge to a technical professional listed in the Court's register of expert witnesses, when the case requires technical expertise. The expert answers the judge's questions and is required to remain impartial toward the parties.
What is party-appointed technical expert work (CTP)?
It is the expert work carried out on behalf of one of the parties: the expert follows the operations of the court-appointed expert, submits observations and supports the technical arguments of their client.
